She will be henceforth be known as Mother Anne in honor of our wonderworking and Myrr streaming icon of Saint Anne the Mother of Mary and Grandmother of Jesus.
Sister Anne will be performing her duties at the Russian Othodox Church of Our Lady "Joy of all who Sorrow" in Philadelphia, PA

  • We hope we might trouble you to consider giving to several worthy causes if God has blessed you with the means to do so:

The St. Nicholas Ugandan Children's Fund provides for the education, health, and well-being of Ugandan children, young adults, and families.
They provide food and clothing to orphans and vulnerable children, enabling them to attend school.
While the charity helps children regardless of religion, it is I believe run by Orthodox Christians and there is a small but thriving indigenous Orthodox church under the Patriarchate of Alexandria.

If you are interested in helping, you can send donations to:
The St. Nicholas Uganda Children's Fund,
         P.O. Box 285
         Chardon, OH 44024-0285
